You’ve started planning your wedding, and you think it would be smart to start a Pinterest wedding board. As you start pinning away you quickly realize these images are really repetitive, and the designs you gravitate towards would cost WAY more then what you have budgeted.
That’s where we come in!
A lot of our atlanta full service wedding planning clients hire us at this point due to overwhelming feelings after their initial design searches and research. This is when we step in and step up to walk our clients through the planning & design process. This starts with an initial consultation where we get to know them personally and also learn all about their wedding style. We ask our brides to send along a few images they find really inspiring. After our meeting we start drafting our mood board, inspiration boards & full design plan.
We take the images and information you provide during our meeting to expand on your thinking. We curate one of a kind designs that carefully consider your personalities and budget, striving to come up with something your guests have never seen or experienced before!
Wondering what a mood board is and why you need a design plan?
A mood board is a one page document that represents your wedding design in a few images. These images could include images of your bouquet, venue space, linen swatches and color palette. This is created with your potential vendors in mind. As your atlanta wedding planner we want each of your vendors to look at this and instantly get a sense of what you are looking for.
Inspiration boards are similar to mood boards but really take our plan a step further by breaking down your mood board into categories. We like to create individual inspiration boards for each segment of your wedding like personal floral, ceremony, reception, stationery, cake/desserts & food / beverages. This allows us to hone in on exactly what you are wanting when it come to every aspect of your big day.
Your design plan from our team that is put together in our online planning software will include a visual breakdown of each visual wedding space. So using your ceremony as an example, we would include your guest book / gift table in our design plan. Listing out all of the items we will have on that table along with pictures of those items. For reception we would include a visual mock up of each guest table design (this might feature multiple designs), including photos of the chairs that will be featured, the floral centerpiece inspiration as well as any candle holders, linen swatches we are using etc.
Does this sound really fun and collaborative?
That’s because it is!!! And this is just the first few design steps we take as your atlanta wedding planner to ensure you are 100% comfortable and in love with your overall aesthetic. We draw from all of this information as we then guide you through floral artist selection, rental additions, linen decisions etc.
