Anytime our Wright & Co team has the opportunity to escape to the North Georgia Mountains we’ll take it! Mary Sloane & Williams wedding was the perfect reunion for family and friends at Waterfall Club with Lake Burton serving as the perfect backdrop.
Their weekend celebration started with golf for the guys and a bridal luncheon on a boat for the ladies. These activities felt like the perfect way to festively kick things off in style. We met up with our couple for their rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at the Farmhouse, where guests enjoyed southern fare paired with local beer and wine offerings.
The palette consisted of a gentle palette of cream, ivory, sage green & pops of darker greens. Each floral creation bridged the gap between traditional and ethereal which was a fun twist. Our floral team enjoyed incorporating special elements such as large planter boxes hand built by the groom, and a canoe filled with cold drinks during cocktail hour. Personalization was in abundance with their custom welcome gifts for guests, branded paper pieces & items to help with safety like personal sanitizers and social distancing markers.
Despite the lowered guest count this was quite the party. Guests had multiple areas to mingle with lounge areas that felt warm and welcoming. We hosted a portion of the reception indoors with a patio behind the venue for overflow seating with mountain views. We also incorporated a tent for the dancefloor, band and bar to promote social distancing practices.
We had such a blast celebrating these two and we were so thrilled they were able to host their dream wedding despite the circumstances of the pandemic. We look forward to following along with their newlywed bliss!
